Big Little Lies: The Real Truth

So every year when I watch the Emmy’s, I always get a plethora of new shoes to check out. And this year did not disappoint in giving me some goodies. But none stood out quite as well as HBO’s Big Little Lies. I am a HUGE fan of the who done it murder mystery genre. And a murder mystery set up where you don’t even know who is dead? Not until the final moments of the last episode of the series? Welcome to the world of Big Little Lies. This series takes you on a ride filled with laughter, pain, jealousy and snark, where someone doesn’t make it out alive.

Nerd Fight: Most Anticipated New Fall Shows

We are back with another poll for this week. Last week saw the fight for the best Bill Murray Movie. Ghostbusters just barely squeaked by Groundhog Day to pull off the Victory. Apparently Groundhog day got stuck in the remnants of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man at the finish to fall out of first. But it was a fun debate, and really capped off celebrating the great Icon that is Bill Murray. So thanks to everyone who came out and participated, you made the week a lot of fun. We are doing this week’s Nerd Fight to celebrate the arrival of the new fall TV shows. If you watched our podcast last night you know that we had some wonderful discussions about some of the shows that have recently debuted. So check that out, and check out this weeks contestants!

Actor Spotlight: Daniel Newman

Daniel Newman is one of the newer members on the show The Walking Dead. So I thought it would be fun to shine a light on just who and what he brings The Walking Dead. Daniel was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in a small rural farm town outside the city. He attended Yale and William Espers acting school to study the art. He has been a model and musician. His band, the Vanderbilts, is producing a rock album with Legendary Producer Tony Shimkin. So it appears that he is going to be a very busy guy here in the near future between this and next season TWD.

This was a great Poll week. I love doing nothing more then praising all of our wonderful fathers. Timeless IS Renewed for a Season 2

I was heartbroken on Wednesday when I read my beloved new series Timeless had been unfairly cancelled by NBC. I was about ready to give up on trying any new show out. If it hadn’t been around for at least 5 seasons then no watching for me. I, along with many others, cried into Twitter-verse, spewing our heartbreak and hatred towards NBC for this decision. And what do you know. NBC heard the fans complaints and the fact that #bringbacktimeless was a trending topic on Twitter. For almost 4 hours after the initial cancellation news was dropped. So who says you can’t make something wonderful happen by crying on twitter?? My online bitching has finally been justified.

Supernatural Villains The Countdown Continues

The villain that started them all, and who left his mark all over seasons 1-5. He was the fanatical mastermind behind the release of Lucifer. Azazel is the reason the Winchesters became hunters. Thanks to Azazel killing Mary Winchester November 2, 1983 he forever altered the Winchester destiny. So here is why I think he ranks among the all-time supernatural greats.

My Supernatural Top 15 Bad Guys, Part 2

Continuing the Countdown

I am here to continue my top 15 countdown with the next 3 “awesome” bad guys to come out of supernatural. I cannot stress how hard it is picking and ranking only 15 people to talk about. The method to my madness is picking characters that had a recurring role on the series. So that is probably why you won’t see Godtsiel, or Demon Dean on the top 15 list. I loved them, but they didn’t get enough screen time to be true villains of the show. Enough rambling though, on with the list!
