SDCC 2017: Game of Thrones

We continue our San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) recap. This time its with the videos of the full panel and highlights from HBO’s Game of Thrones. The HBO series is a staple of SDCC in Hall H on Friday every year. Fans of the show start trying to camp out in line 2-3 days prior to the actual day of the panel. Every year the panel is filled to the brim with members of the cast. This year was no different.

This years San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) recap continues with videos for AMC’s The Walking Dead panel. The panel took place inside the famed Hall H that holds around 6,500 people in it. SDCC 2017: The Big Bang Theory

This was the first time, in a long time, that The Big Bang Theory has been within the largest auditorium room at SDCC, Hall H. It was a celebration of the show. For the last few years Big Bang Theory’s panel has lacked having much of a cast presence. Celebrating 10 years, as a result this year brought back a large number of the cast. On the panel we had Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstader), Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Kunal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali), and Kevin Sussman (Stuart Bloom). Joined by series creators and writers including Bill Prady. The panel was moderated by couple smaller yet appreciated roles John Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke) and Riki Lindhome (Ramona Nowitzki).

Doctor Who San Diego Comic Con 2017

SDCC Doctor Who Panel, Hall H, July 23, 2017

This last weekend, I had the honor of being at the San Diego Comic Con International, Hall H panel for Doctor Who.  7000 attendees, press and professionals were present to honor Peter Capaldi (12th Doctor), Steven Moffat (Executive Producer and Head Writer), and Pearl Mackie (Bill Pots, Companion).  The audience gave a standing ovation to Peter Capaldi and he was moved as it was the first time he has ever received a standing ovation.  My wife and I were very thankful to be present to honor Peter Capaldi in particular as we have missed the annual San Diego panel for the last few years.

What is grabbing a lot of headlines though? The 13th Doctor is female.  But, who cares?  What is going to happen when you finally see a female doctor controlling the TARDIS and pulling companions through adventures?  This is not a cross dresser changing their gender from a male to a female.  This is an alien with no gender preference.
