Hello all you geek enthusiasts and nerd aficionados!
I have just a quick bit of news. The Comic-Con International (CCI) website is no longer giving you the ability to make new member ID for this years San Diego Comic-Con. When you go to the website to create a member ID you will see this announcement:
“IMPORTANT: All new Member ID account creations will not be eligible to participate in Comic-Con 2017 Open Registration. If you create an account today, please keep in mind that you are not eligible for Open Registration. You will be eligible for Comic-Con 2018 Open Registration once you complete your account creation and email confirmation.”
If you are one of the lucky ones that already has a Member ID or went and made sure to make one prior to this. Congratulations!, you still have a chance at getting tickets.
CCI announced earlier in the year that general sale would happen sometime in April. With them closing the Member ID it looks like the sale will be happening earlier in the month. So I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the general sale is either going to most likely be Saturday April 8th.
Don’t take my word for it watch you email box, make sure that everything you receive from CCI doesn’t go into your spam folder.
If you would like more pointers on how to be ready fro the general sale you can read our earlier article on the subject here.
I look forward to seeing all the geeks and nerds there.
