Malice-Corp wants to know: ‘What is your favorite vintage video game?’

GREETINGS TO ALL FROM MALICE-CORP.COM.  Hello all you purveyors of Nerd-dom!  I want to pose you a question.  Maybe start up a dialog.  What is your favorite vintage video game?  Please give this article a quick read over and then spout off in the comments below.

What is a vintage game?

Well to me a vintage game is something that is over 10 years old, but I am open to a different definition if you can make me a case for it.  To me if you want to call a game vintage it needs a little dust on it, maybe it has a few creaks in its knees and back.

My favorite vintage game:

My favorite vintage game has to be “Quest for Glory: So You Want to Be a Hero” by Sierra Entertainment.  This rock solid piece of genius launched on to the scene back in October 1989.  I was 12 and fell completely in love with PC gaming after this point.  For its time it had amazing graphics, flexible open game play, and puzzles that took real thought to solve.  I will admit I missed most of the puns because it was loaded with adult humor that flew over my head.

Corey Cole and Lori Ann Cole made a true masterpiece in my mind.  This game was so good it spawned 4 sequels and was remade in 1992 with new upgraded VGA graphics and improved audio.

The Question:

So I put it to you again.  What is your favorite vintage game?  Comment below and lets get a discussion going about great games from the past that we all want to play again!
