Friday the 13th – a gore filled game of hide-n-seek

GREETINGS TO ALL FROM MALICE-CORP.COM.  Gun media’s new game, should be release soon; for Xbox, PS, and PC via Steam.  No exact dates have been release but Jason is coming to your house soon, better lock the doors.

This game is graphic to the extreme and for mature audiences only.  Please if you are a minor or disturbed by graphic violence please do not read or view the contents of this article.

Well Gun Media has succeed with their Kick Starter campaign to bring us ‘Friday the 13th The Game’.  The game footage brings back memories of my youth watching these campy horror films.  Watching stupid stereotypical teenagers and early 20 somethings be brutally murdered by an unstoppable killing machine for the simple sin of being MORONS!  I mean why the hell do they always split up and hide under the bed!

Game Trailer

I love this trailer!  It is a throw back to 80’s and 90’s TV!  Check it out….

Game Play:

The game is being hailed as a survival game. Where you either take on the role of Jason or one of the camp counselors.

As Jason your goal is to hunt down the other players and massacre them in some iconic fashion from the movies. Jason comes with some unfair advantages.  Jason appears to be able to pop around and have hunting sense to help him locate his prey, but from everything I have seen he can’t run.  VERY thematic from the movies.

As a camp counselor your goal is to just survive.  Run and hide if you can, trick the player playing Jason if you can and be at the very least the last to die.  A new and deadly twist on hide-n-go-seek.

The game seems choked full of cheesy 80’s fashions and culture.  Everything from preppy guys with shoulder sweaters, big hair, and of course hair metal music.  With no price point on the game as of yet other then the $60 pre-order price tag for a physical copy though the Kick Starter campaign it is hard to tell if this game will be worthy of a purchase.  So fair it looks fun and interesting, but Malice-Corp will hold our opinions till we get a full price point and a chance to play the game.  So stay tuned for more information and as always comment below.  Don’t forget to like and share us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter, maybe do both!

Man, I forgot this was even in the works! People might say, “Uh, Garry’s Mod much?”, but if they give the Jason player and counselor players detailed enough options/actions and a deeply interactive environment, this could be the party game to unseat Mario.

Thank goodness. Finally I can kill like in Naughty Bear , but not feel so morally confused about it .
