SPENCER & LOCKE is a comic book from Action Lab Comics. I spotted it many months ago while reading Voracious, one if its cousin books. David Pepose and Jorge Santiago, Jr. were kind enough to answer some questions for our Comics For All! team, and we’re here to share! “I write comics as if each one is going to be the last thing I ever write.” -David PeposeRead more

As of March 3rd, 2018, it’s one year we’ve been welcoming all geek enthusiasts and nerd aficionados. Hoary heights ho!
You know, many wonder just what a “geek” or a “nerd” is. Well, being SUCH an old duffer that I can (sorta) remember the time before Nintendo had any consoles, this here’s an Igor who can tell you!
This article brought to you by Victor Frankenstein; harnessing monster energy to infuse a spark of being into lifeless things since 1818.Read more
Hollywood is bringing us The Snowman, and Murder on the Orient Express, our own Cricket and GiaTomcat brought us The Invention of Hugo Cabret and IT, respectively…
Clearly, all the cool kids are thinking books right now. Seeing as it is a basic tenet of geekdom to be all about bandwagons, let’s hop aboard!Read more

Stefan Karl Stefansson is arguably just as famous for the Sprout television show LazyTown as Magnús Scheving. Magnus Scheving is the show’s creator, and stars as the superhero Sportacus 10. Stefan Karl stars as the villain Robbie Rotten. The show is already remarkable in how high quality its music is, and that it doesn’t speak condescendingly to its viewers.Read more
By now, many of you have heard of Chester Bennington’s tragic death. I’m writing this on July 20, 2017, his death only having been reported hours before. His family, his friends, his fans are all rocked by this, and I feel like repeating anything I want to say about him and Linkin Park on July 21st’s episode of our podcast would be tacky on many levels. So I won’t get into much detail other than the two things I do want to repeat here and tomorrow: Never forget the incredible battle Chester waged, and that the band and his family helped him wage it.Read more
Let’s Talk Tabletop Well, E3 2017 has just come to visit and we got our game on in Nerd Fight #12, so I’m waxing a little nostalgic. Friends, Romans, countrymen, let’s talk boards and dice. Even here in the 21st century, many of us still have fond (or not so fond- Monopoly) memories of certain Parker Brothers classics, Battleship, Chess, Uno, Go, heck, even Mouse Trap – do you know anyone who played that properly? When we’re finally getting a new Metroid, a new feature in Madden, and a Quantic Dream game that might actually make your decisions important, it’s also a good point to step back, toss those bones, and gaze coolly at the cards. Here’re some games of chance you might not have met yet. The best tabletop games you should be playing!Read more
Hot sauces I have known, of the good, the bad, and the Taco Bell. Yoga Fire! This article will review a number of hot sauces that I have tried. Some of them I have loved. Some I have hated. Let’s get saucy!Read more
In amongst all the Wonder Woman hype, I want to remind y’all of Susan Storm-Richards, A.K.A. The Invisible Woman. No, not because of Jessica Alba. Having watched Jessica in Dark Angel, I blame poorly written characterization on her foray into the Fantastic Four. My choice to vote for in this week’s Nerd Fight is the best performance of Sue because -from the beginning of the Fantastic Four in 1961 to 2017 where her book has been canceled, but she lives on in other Marvel adventures- I look at her and I see what exemplifies women: powerful patience, unyielding resolve, and ferocious defense of those they love.Read more
Now, my title here might be as tired a thought as “Who Would Win in a Fight…?”, but by thunder, much like fictional mettle being tested, when the question is music, we simply must test it, or our lives are smaller for the lack of answer. And ol’ Igor is back, baby, here to do some science to some tunes with you. On. With. The. Shoooow!Read more
Friends, we here at Malice Corp. have a respectable team of booze hounds: as Ben Franklin said, “Beer is proof that God loves us, and wants us to be happy.” But we are NERDS, dear reader. Gamers, writers, moviegoers, computer techs, Netflix bingers, artists. Ours is a noble tradition that needs to spread its wings to their fullest everywhere it goes. The humble Java bean also needs representation!Read more
Hoo boy. The temptation to ramble, curse, and rave will be strong in this one. Mest, Talmor, BCON, I promise to do my best to do my duty and not be one of “those” fanboys. Rudie, I apologize in advance to our dear editor.Read more

…a little game from Swedish development team ZOINK!, Stick it to the Man is the platformer to kick Mario right off of his platformer king… uh… platform… if it ever gets the trillion dollar advertising budget that Nintendo has. Platforming? It’s got that. Creative new gameplay mechanic? It’s got that. Interesting story? It’s got that. Unpredictable jokes? Good soundtrack? Aesthetically pleasing AND easy to use level design? An (ohmygoodness.) creative AND fun item collection mechanic? Check, check, check, and check.Read more
